In short

• Your health data stays on your phone.
• No ads and no trackers. Anonymous usage stats only if you say yes.
• No account is needed.
• Food photos and notes go to Google Gemini, through our server, only after you agree. Our server doesn't keep them.

This website

This site has no analytics, trackers or cookies, and no sign-up form. It's hosted on Cloudflare, which handles standard request data in order to serve the pages.

What stays on your device

Apple Health data, supplement names, lab values, your calendar titles and notes, and everything you tell the app during setup, including health answers. Body photos stay on your phone and are never in the encrypted backup. They only leave if you save them to Photos yourself.

What leaves your phone

• Food photos, food notes and answers to food questions, sent through our server to Google Gemini to estimate what you ate. The app asks your permission first, and you can turn this off.
• A barcode number, when you scan a code that isn't in your saved foods. Only the number goes to Open Food Facts, nothing about you.
• Answers you type into check-ins, and weekly summary numbers such as averages, sent the same way, once those features arrive.
• An encrypted backup file goes only where you save it. It's encrypted on your phone with a passphrase of yours, never includes body photos, and doesn't come to us.
• Anonymous usage stats, only if you say yes to “Help Nudgist learn”. Things like which screens you open and which nudges you act on, sent to PostHog in the EU with a random ID made on your phone. Never your health numbers, food, photos, calendar or anything you type. You can see what's been sent, and turn it off, under You › Privacy and data.

Subscriptions

Purchases go through your Apple ID. We use RevenueCat to check your subscription status. It sees a random ID created on your phone and your purchase details, and never sees your health data.
